"I have known Bob Terfruchte for many years and he is my “go-to person” for all computer questions and problems.  In fact, he assisted most of the neighbors with their computer issues as well. He built my computer from the ground up and then has assisted me with all software and hardware issues ever since. Bob has over 40 years of experience in the computer industry. He knows everything there is to know about a computer, so from hard drives to spreadsheets, he is your guy!  I know absolutely nothing about computers, so as I explain my issues to Bob, he is thoughtful, kind and patient.  What stands out the most to me, is the way he asks questions to help solve my issues in a methodical, determined manner without being condescending, and then takes the time to try to help me understand both the problem and solution.  When I go to Bob with an issue, I know he is going to resolve it whether it is a simple fix or a complex issue, but just as important, is his integrity.  Bob is extremely honest and trustworthy.  It is rare these days to find someone who is principled, friendly, will spend the time to help you and charge you a fair price to complete the job.  This is Bob Terfruchte!

"If you are in need of any computer help, Bob is your guy! I had a old laptop that I needed to have files moved to a new laptop. The process is pretty easy with Apple products, but during an update, my old MacBook froze. I tried everything to unfreeze it, but nothing worked. I really needed all the files moved over to my new laptop, so I found Bob. He was able to fix the frozen laptop and was able to transfer everything to my new laptop. Thank you Bob for your help!!"

"I highly recommend Bob for your computer needs. I’m not sure how it happened, but I had thousands of Frontier emails disappear from my Inbox and other folders. I use the Mail application on my Apple MacBook Air. Frontier initially said the problem was on their end, but later disclaimed any responsibility for the items missing on their servers. Their instructions on how to delete/add a new mailbox led me down a wrong path. After lots of time and frustration, I contacted Bob. He researched the situation and provided instructions and links on how to start heading in the right path. I got the mailbox recreated and he checked the Frontier/Yahoo webmail to determine what was available for us to restore back to my Mac Mail. With Bob’s help, we were able to restore many of the emails. I found him to be very sharp, responsive, clear, empathetic, trustworthy, respectful, genuine, and understanding. He is also fair in his pricing. As it turned out, Bob lives in my same neighborhood."

"Bob Terfruchte, Bloomington Computer Guy, took my MacBook Pro which I much prefer compared to a new MacBook Pro I purchased in late 2022, and brought it back to life. He ordered the parts, checked it out and fixed everything a previous un-repair person managed to perpetrate. I must say I thought it would cost at least 25% more than it did. I have spent over an hour checking things out and am so happy to experience the speed and ease of getting where I need to go. I removed so many duplicate photos that I was surprised to find! I had an Apple tech helping transfer everything from the un-damaged to the new computer because it didn't work as it should have and she had to work at it! I'm happy to have found someone with the knowledge he apparently has. Thank you, Bob, and I hope we don't need to meet real soon, but I want to be sure to keep in touch!"
